One of the things that I’ve done over the past year is reducing the amount of money I spend on annual fees. This month, I downgraded my Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select card to the Citi MileUp card since I’ve found myself not flying American too frequently. I also going to be going for Alaska Airlines status next year which another reason why I downgraded. Here are my current cards:
| Credit Card Annual Fees | Amount |
| American Express Platinum (Schwab) | $895.00 |
| Capital One Venture X | $395.00 |
| United Explorer Card | $150.00 |
| Chase Sapphire Preferred | $99.00 |
| World of Hyatt | $95.00 |
| Alaska Airlines Visa | $95.00 |
| Citi MileUp | $0.00 |
| Fidelity Rewards Visa | $0.00 |
| Citi Double Cash | $0.00 |
| Chase Freedom Unlimited | $0.00 |
| Chase Freedom | $0.00 |
| Capital One Venture | $0.00 |
| Barclay Arrival | $0.00 |
| Apple Card | $0.00 |
| AMEX Hilton | $0.00 |
| AMEX Everyday | $0.00 |
Most of my spend is going on my Fidelity Rewards Visa and Citi Double Cash until the new status year starts.
